Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your DailyTx account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to request deletion, what gets removed, what we may keep for legal reasons, and how long it takes. This applies to both vendor and customer accounts managed by Adhyay Infotech Private Limited.
1. How to request deletion
From within the app
Open the DailyTx app, go to Settings > Account, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm before the request is submitted.
By email
Alternatively, send an email to connect@adhyayinfotech.com from your registered email address (or the mobile-linked email on the account) with the subject "Delete my account". Include your name and registered mobile number so we can verify the request.
2. What gets deleted
- Your account profile (name, mobile number, email and login credentials).
- Store details you created.
- Customer records you added, including their names, contact numbers and addresses.
- Subscriptions, routes, delivery logs and inventory records linked to your account.
- App usage and diagnostic data tied to your identity.
3. What we may retain
We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate business need, for example:
- Billing, invoice and tax records relating to your subscription, kept for the period required under Indian accounting and tax laws.
- Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or enforce our agreements.
Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is then deleted or anonymised.
4. Timeline
Once we verify your request, we begin the deletion process and complete it within 30 days. After deletion, your account cannot be recovered, and you will need to sign up again if you wish to use DailyTx in future.
5. A note for vendors
If you are a vendor, deleting your account also removes the customer records you stored in DailyTx. Please make sure you no longer need this information, or export anything you require, before requesting deletion.
